I love FilmyFair.com. It’s not that I love Bollywood or celebrities or anything of that nature. I love the blog. I love it because it’s not mine. It’s part of my network, but it’s not mine.
It is written by Parasshuram Shalgar, one of my charges. I don’t mind saying that I taught Parasshuram everything he knows. I don’t mind saying that Parasshuram was/is an amazing student. He did exactly (well, almost) as I told him. And lo and behold, FilmyFair has well over 4 million visitors now.
Yup. It works. What I say. What I know. What I teach….works. And not just for me.
I gained an interest in things Indian when I was locked in a room all day one day while on a trip back in time. Traveling in India is like going back to the 1st century…especially in the countryside. New Delhi is unique…high rises, taxis, cell phones and elephants! Look! There’s Jumbo walking down the middle of the street in the center of the city. How cool is that! Really!
