The Top 10 Blog Networks by traffic

I got curious to know who are the blog networks that are still around and are still getting traffic.
I was surprised at how few there are and how little traffic many networks are getting.
Is this list comprehensive? No. Is it authoritative? No. Is is the best I could come up with for now? Yes. Got suggestions? Proof to the contrary? Let me know. I’ll gladly edit.
For now, here are the top 14 blog networks I have found. (According to Alexa Ranking).
Top also meaning the higher numbers are/may be getting 40,000 views or more a day. Numbers 1-10 are well over 1 million views a month.
Here they are –
1. Techcrunch – TechCrunch, founded on June 11, 2005, is a weblog dedicated to obsessively profiling and reviewing new Internet products and companies.
2. Gawker – Gawker is Gawker Media’s flagship title, a mix of pop culture and media gossip, updated up to two dozen times a day. Trying hard to make it to the top ten but not there yet.
