I discovered my inner writer. I always knew I wanted to write but seeing it actually in action and reading my work days later – and feeling good about it – was a first. Also, I learnt about the economics and demands of blogging. As a money making avenue, blogging really works when you give it the commitment and not lose belief. Belief is everything. Another underlying benefit/perk from blogging is the will to organize oneself through a strict daily regimen. Discipline is non-negotiable and one really understands its worth after following it.
It is a fascinating feeling to see so many views, readers and comments. It is no less feat. I see myself maturing into someone whose opinions are valued and respected. People would utilize this faculty to their advantage for marketing purposes by paying me so my readers will get to know about the marketer’s products and services. The model makes complete sense. I did not know I could influence creation of wealth in a broad spectrum – not just for myself but for people who are willing to invest in me and my like-ability. This in itself is enough motivation to stay focused on more and more blogging and maturation in that space. One has to understand that content is everything. Find-ability is necessary but without content, you will lose traffic eventually.
Overall, I am quite pleased with my experience with blogging so far. I have discovered a new self and plan on maintaining it as long as I can. Hopefully, real companies will approach me soon for lucrative marketing opportunities and I hope to keep writing good content on various products and services to keep the traffic. Furthermore, I am planning to extend my writing to community colleges and other academia that might be interested in tapping into this space. I am open for philanthropy.
