Optimize the URL of Your Webpage
The page’s URL must include a primary target keyword. Each word in the URL should be separated by a dash (-). e.g. www.example.com/local-seo-marketing.
Optimize the Meta Description
Follow these guidelines to optimize the Meta description:
- No more than 150 characters, but no less than 100
- Utilize the primary target keyword when creating your content/ blog titles
- Provide a compelling reason as to why someone should visit your web page
- Implement keywords in conversational format as opposed to simply listing or cramming them in

Optimize H-tags (Header Tags)
The page should have at least one H1 tag that incorporates with the primary target keyword. The H1 tag should be placed at the very top of the page. Include H2 tags that also incorporate the primary target keyword.
The H1 tag is the large font in bold at the top of your web page. If it doesn’t already, modify it to include the primary target keyword that relates to the content within the web page.
