Is it possible for an everyday blogger turned business blogger to get a press pass to most any industry event?
The short answer – Yes.
The long answer – Yes, it is.
The longer answer – Indeed it is possible, but it ain’t all that easy. Depending on the event, of course. Indeed all things are possible, but some things are more difficult than others.
I have been issued press passes to attend a bunch of Search Engine, Search Marketing events in/around Silicon Valley (where I live).
I have also received press passes to events I am interested in from NYC to San Diego to Vegas.
Oh..almost forgot…I have covered not a few LPGA events and the Pro Am at Pebble Beach…just because I could.
And, I have taught my clients how to do the same. Mr Half Dome went to a national outdoor retail event and covered a few triathlons and and… and he picked up a few clients who went on to place ads on his site.
So, how is it possible? For an every day blogger, turned business blogger, turned professional blogger to get a press pass?
I teach this class at my Silicon Valley Bloggers and Writers Meetups. And I plan to offer the steps up to business bloggers members.
To attend these events, a person might be required to pay anywhere from $1000-$2000 give or take.
For just $20/month or after attending just one Meetup devoted to this topic for $20, you could get your money back in a hurry.
Is it worth it to you to belong to the business blogger membership area?
I think it’s a no brainer… especially when you consider the many other benefits for the business blogger. <= Click to know.
