I am in my 8th week of blogging and I do fancy writing more than anything else. My blog is gaining fame at a snail’s pace. Enrolling in this marketing class which is being taught by Professor Bill Belew is a blessing in disguise. He is so passionate and knows exactly what he is talking about. His teachings have all made us survive the severe competition in the blogging world. I learn new things everyday with blogging and it surprises me how much more is out there to master the art of blogging. As I have stated before, blogging is not just about writing good articles. It is also about writing smart articles with good SEO keywords. Let us discuss some points in detail to be a good blogger.
1) Writing more than one article daily
Currently I write one article of 600 -750 words daily. I want to be able to write two articles for the same amount of words and publish two times daily. I want to get there soon and this requires hard work and time management. This will help my site generate more traffic which in turn increases my chances to get noticed. Good content published twice can yield much better results.
2) Spend time on research
Honestly, spending time on research is very critical to get new and innovative ideas to write about. We all at some point run out of ideas to write about. Our brains cant think of anything more. This is when reading books and spending time researching online helps us and puts us back on track. I buy lot of books as I strongly believe books are a treasure and people’s best friends. You will be surprised how much information your brain can store and process. I am very organized and hoping this good quality of mine will benefit me with doing more research.
3) Manage time efficiently
Time, is it ever enough? I have not met a single soul who says they have enough time to do a certain task. Even small children have started to say they dont have time to do this or that. I always fall short of time. I plan things well but staying committed to the clock is not an easy task. If I can learn the importance of time management, I would do wonders with my daily schedule. Blogging is all about having enough time to write good and quality article. No proper time sense, it will all go down the drain.
4) Make new friends
I would like to enroll myself in some blogging clubs and meet new bloggers. This way I can make new friends who are in the same line of interest as fashion, lifestyle and share ideas. This changes our complete outlook towards life as different people from different cultures add value to our thoughts. Fresh and new ideas come from meeting new people. At the end of the day its all about being well-connected and having the right connections. Visiting other blogs and making virtual friends is also a good way to kick start your presence in the blogging world.
