I read Professor Belew’s blog about Finding your Rhythm in Blogging. I am not surprised that Professor is so passionate about blogging. From the very first day, he has been very enthusiastic and passionate about what he does in living which is blogging.
In this blog, he writes about the ways in which he schedules his day and works around the blogging schedule that he has. I have read it multiple times that most of the successful people get tougher things done at the start of the day. I believe that when he says that he blogs at 4 am to 7 am, he is doing all the main work in the initial time of the day giving himself a head start. I believe conditioning ones mind and body clock is very important and I see an inspiration in my professor here.
I find it even more respectful because I personally have tried to start my day earlier than 6 am but seem to find it one of the most difficult things I have done. My day starts at 8 am and I am definitely working on it with added motivation for this article.
With an internship, I have to reach office at a certain time and come back all drained out. So writing daily posts is a bit of a burden. But I do it only after 9 pm in the night, after some exercise and dinner. Even in the class, Prof. Bill telling us that even if he is a lot older than his students, but still he can maintain this tight schedule.
I believe it has a lot to do with motivation. Every person has an inclination towards some field and judging them on their other skills is unfair. Mr. Albert Einstein once said, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
So I totally understand why I find it so easy to sing for 8 hours continuously, whereas others find it hard to even sing for 1 hour. My non-singer friends are drained out, but I have a natural bent towards it and I work my life events around singing just like Professor Belew does with Blogging.
And yes, I definitely want to share all the information that I have about classical singing. So I write a blog about it too. In my article, I included lyrics and guitar tabs of songs that I personally love. Please feel free to come in and read about a few ideas in my Idea Cafe or read in about one of my music thoughts and pieces of advice.
