Wilby Partners with Bill Belew for a European Research Tour on Angels – Ep 31

Eleven -year -old Amy's dad always kept his

Wilby. What are you doing down there? Well, I’m getting recharged.

You’re getting recharged to do what? Well, you know, it takes a lot of energy to ride around in your pocket all day. Have you ever tried to do that?

I guess I can’t say that I have. Well, can I plug into you if my phone goes dead? What?

Dead. Dead. You mean if I don’t charge, I’m going to die?

Well, just leave me here until. Okay, I’m.

European Research Adventure: Wilby Joins Bill Belew for Angel Book Insights – Ep 30

Hey, dummy, where are we? Well, we just left Peron. Did she cry when you left her?

Hmm. Peron is a city, not a person. I know that, but did she cry when you left her?

Ha ha ha ha ha. You’re not very funny. Well, you should hear your jokes.

So, dummy, I have a question. When you’re walking on the highway, are you worried about trucks run? Well, I was a little bit, but I have a strategy for that.

And what’s your strategy? Well, see, Jake, he walks up in front of us. He’s way up there.

Whoa. And I figure a truck will probably run over him before he runs over us. What?

Okay, I guess so. Dummy, will you do me a favor? What’s that?

Well, since we’re walking facing the traffic, will you please put me in your left pocket? Okay. Why?

Well, the left pockets.

Hey, dummy, where are we? We are in Bre? La brazier.

What? Where? Who’s Bra?

No. Brazil. You don’t speak French very well, do you?

No. Can you speak French for me? I can say anything in the world.

Like. See, I’m pretty good. So tell me, I have a question.

Where are. No, not where are we? You’re in a broad place.

How far have we gone? Well, we’ve gone about 160 kilometers. Huh.

How far is that? It’s about 100 miles. Okay.

How far is that? Well, it’s like going to San Francisco and back. And then going back to San Francisco.

Good. Okay. Where’s that?

Hey, dummy, this seems like it’s a pretty good idea. Let me ride around in your pocket like this. Thanks for thinking about me.

And that’s taking me back in that backpack. I don’t want me in the backpack. What’s wrong with you?

Anyway, thanks for putting me in this. In this pocket here. Okay, but there’s only one problem.

Okay, Wilby, what’s that problem? Well, when I ride in the back in the pocket like this, it messes up my hair.

Well, it’s about time you got me out of the backpack, man. I’ve been dying, and it worked. What?

I thought we were gonna go do things.

We’re gonna go on an airplane, and we’re gonna go see Canterbury, and we’re gonna pray to the St Thomas picket, and I’ve been stuck in this kind of crazy backpack.

What’s wrong with you? We’ll be. Shut up.

Oh, okay. What’s wrong? Look, there’s a rainbow.

See the rainbow? No. Oh, yeah.

Where’d the rest of it go? Well, it was here before you stuck me in the backpack. I don’t know what’s wrong with you.

Okay, be quiet. Be quiet. Look, look.

Goes all the way over here. If you look over there, you see that over there? I mean, way over there.

Hey, dummy, where are we? We are in a church. Huh?

Church? What are we doing in here? What do people do in a church anyway?

Well, I want to show you a picture of my favorite painting in the world. Okay, you ready for this? Oh, look at.

Who’s that? That’s Jesus. Well, what’s he doing up there?

Well, he was on the cross, and then he died. Huh. What did he die from?

Well, he was crucified. What’s that? Well, he was crucified, and they took him off the cross, and his disciples took him down off the cross.

This was painted by Rubens, called A Descent from the Cross. Wow, look at that. So, I have a question.

It's a beautiful day and I can't stop myself from smiling if we're drinking, then I'm buying and I know there's no denying it's a beautiful day.

I’m checking out another million million dollar company. Oh, that’s a lot of numbers. They got more zeros than I have fingers and toes.

God. I don’t have any fingers. I got a thumb.

Whoops. I got a thumb. There he is.

So anyway, this company is worth a trillion. No, Trillion dollars. Wow, that’s a lot of money.

Its name is ready for this? Okay. I don’t know what that name is.

Oh, it’s over here. It’s over.

Hi.

Hey.

Tommy and I are celebrating.

We have just four weeks to go.

Four weeks from today, we are leaving to go on the Via Franchina.

I don’t know what that is, but I’m going anyway.

So, four weeks.

I will show you my four fingers.

But look, I don’t have any fingers.

I have a thumb.

So four thumbs.

One, two, three, four.

So, as you know, I am a master ventronquist.

Well, I have been practicing.

I have been practicing miming.

And to celebrate the four weeks before, I’m going to show you some of the mimes that I am practicing.

Okay.

I can.

I can only use my face.

Ready?

So I’m gonna show you.

Excited.

Excited.

How was that?

Now I’m gonna show you Happy.

Happy.

E, E, E.

Happy.

Now I can show you Sad.

Sad.

And the hardest one for me is all angry.

Let me show you angry.

Yeah, I don’t get angry very often.

Hey.

Yesterday I went to the hospital with a dummy.

He’s gonna get his thumb cut off.

I’ll tell you about that some other time.

Anyway, while I was there, they told me I had to wear a mask.

Good golly.

I didn’t even know it was Halloween.

So anyway, I put on my mask and they were not very happy.

I still do not know why I had to wear a mask, but I think it’s because.

Hey, I’m here with Tattoo.

Hey, Tattoo.

Yeah.

We’re outside the most depressing place in the Bay area.

That’s what dummy says.

Oh, Dummy.

That’s him talking.

Yeah, Dummy’s gonna get his thumb cut off, man.

That’s Friday.

That’s like the day after tomorrow.

I think that would hurt.

That’s all I got.

They cut that off.

Ouch.

But anyway, we’re practicing on going on our walk on the Via France and Dummy promised he would show me a really cool statues.

Well, there’s a really cool statue outside this super depressing place.

Want to see it?

Here it comes.

Oh, look at that thing.

Yeah.

So we’re outside the hospital.

Yeah.

I think anything that sounds like horsebit has to be a depressing place.

But look at this really cool quote.

To care for him who has borne the battle and for his widow and his orphans, Abraham Lincoln
